What is a keepsake jewellery?
Are there sample jewellery that I can view?
Yes, you can come by office at Tradehub21, by appointment only, to view and discuss your design too. Otherwise, stay tuned to our social media and meet us at our upcoming pop-ups!
What can I include for making a keepsake jewellery?
You can choose to include any or all of the following
Breastmilk
- 8 to 10ml, fresh/frozen
- 5g, powdered
- balance would be stored with us for 12 months to use for future order(s)
Hair (from your child, yourself and spouse)
- a bunch of 10 to 30 strands
- balance would returned
Baby Cord
- must be fully dried
- balance piece would returned
Do I have to send in fresh breastmilk?
No, you can use fresh, or frozen milk, even from years ago, that is no longer suitable for consumption.
How do I know that my inclusions are used?
You can trust that we take great pride in our handcrafted jewellery and would not risk damaging our reputation with such matter. A simple DNA test would be able to prove what was used.
How do I place an order?
How is a keepsake jewellery made?
We use high quality and long lasting epoxy resin to encase your inclusion(s) and then embed it into your chosen jewellery.
How do I send in my inclusion(s)?
All purchases come with a Collection Kit that would have everything you need to collect and store your inclusion(s). We will also arrange to have them collected from your doorstep.
How long can I keep my jewellery for?
Like all jewellery, with proper care, it can last a lifetime. We would include a silver polishing cloth or cleaning cloth, depending on the item. Care instructions are shared on the product page.
Your 'mama stone' do not require any special care. Generally wiping is sufficient.
Would the resin turn yellow in time?
As we use epoxy resin, exposure to UV light may cause it's colour to change slightly but not turn yellow.
How do I care for my keepsake jewellery?
Epoxy resin itself is a very hardy material, thus no special care is requirement. However it is not scratch or damage proof, general care of storage to avoid damage should be done. Caring for a keepsake jewellery is the same like most jewellery. Avoid direct contact with any skincare, cosmetics, perfume and any type of chemical. Do not wear them to shower or swim. Always apply the jewellery rule; last to wear, first to remove.
How do I measure my ring/bangle size?
If you are not sure, just select the closest estimated size to place your order. We will send you a measuring tool together with your Collection Kit. Update us should there be any changes needed. Kindly return the measuring tool together with your inclusion(s).
How long do I have to wait for my keepsake jewellery?
The general timeline is 8 to 10 weeks from the time we receive your inclusion(s). We are working to shorten this time line. Should you require it as a sooner time, please check in with us to see if it can be done. We are not able to rush any order for a earlier time line should it not be agreed before the order is placed. Any request after order is placed, is subjected to our availability.
Can I cancel or return my order?
Every piece of keepsake is custom-made with an individual's DNA, thus, we would not be able to cancel and refund once the processes has begin. Should the cancellation request be made after the Collection Kit is sent out, there would be a charge of $10 to cover the cost of the Collection Kit. Should the cancellation request be made after we receive your Collection Kit, before embedding, there would be a charge of $30 to cover the cost of the Collection Kit and inclusion(s) preservation. Kindly note that balance amount for refund will only be refunded as store credit with a validity of 6 months.
